The Dragon Tree is a subtropical tree native to the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Madeira, and Western Morocco.

The Dragon Tree is an ideal indoor plant as it is an air purifying powerhouse. It removes toxins such as xylene, trichloroethylene, formaldehyde, and benzene which primarily come from lacquers like hairspray and furniture polish. As powerful as this plant is, the leaves are harmful to pets.
These plants are ideal for beginner gardeners. This small subtropical tree can grow up to 20 feet tall, but grown as a houseplant it can grow up to 6 feet. Dragon Trees excel in hardiness zones 10 through 12. They come in a variety of colors like dark red and green leaves with ivory stripes going down it’s leaves.

Care Tips:
The Dragon Tree prefers room temperatures around 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit; however it can survive colder conditions.
Light: bright indirect light. Direct light will cause damage to the leaves.
Soil: use all purpose mix while maintaining it slightly moist.
