PALM CARE TIPS:

Maintenance: Intermediate

Sunlight
  1. Avoid direct sunlight
  2. Place the palm near an east-facing or south-facing window with filtered light, it should get enough natural light.
Water
  1. Palms need to be kept moist, but you should never allow them to dry out or sit in water.
  2. You should water your new planted palm tree every day for the first week
  3. Every other day for the second week
  4. Then switch to 3 times a week.
  5. Palm tree soil should be always moist.
  6. Established Palm Tree needs watering 2-3 times a week.

Fertilizer
  1. Good natural at-home-emergency fertilizer options for orchids are eggshells, potatoes, Epsom salt, etc… (Please refer to our DIY blog post on fertilizer).
  2. Palms require a slow-release or diluted liquid fertilizer, but only when plant is actively growing. The active growth period for palms is from late winter through early fall. If you are unsure about how much fertilizer to use, it is best to under-feed than over-feed the plant.
Temperature:
  1. The ideal temperature is between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and about 60 F at night.
  2. The exception to this is when plants are not actively growing, in winter. They can survive.
Bloom

Will normally not bloom flowers. Very rare.
