MASS CANE Care Tips:

Maintenance: Intermediate

Sunlight
  1. Indirect bright is best; no direct sunlight. It can tolerate low light
Water
  1. Once a week should be enough. Let the soil be a little damp or slightly dry
  2. Mass cane plants are intolerant of excessive amounts of fluoride; the leaf tips will turn brown as a result of fluoridated water.

Fertilizer
  1. Good natural at-home-emergency fertilizer options for orchids are eggshells, potatoes, Epsom salt, etc… (Please refer to our DIY blog post on fertilizer).
  2. Any soil with good drainage.
  3. 5-10-5 liquid fertilizer
  4. Avoid the use of superphosphate fertilizers – those with 15 to 21 percent phosphorus -- as they contain high levels of fluoride. Use a potting soil that doesn't contain perlite as it, too, contains fluoride.
  5. Withhold fertilizer during winter.
Temperature: 60°F-75°F

First Plant

This is the first pant I got and I am very satisfied! The plant is as beautiful as it is on the pictures. The colors of the leaves are fantastic and the plant is very easy to take care of. I followed the care tips on their blog and I contacted them on Instagram, and I have to say that the customer service is on point. They were very helpful and answered all my concerns quickly. Thank you so much Essencia Air, I love it!
