Bromeliad Plant Care Tips:

Maintenance: Easy

Sunlight
  1.  grow in the full range of light conditions from full sun to partial shade
  2. Fourteen to sixteen hours of fluorescent light a day will usually maintain leaf color.
Water
  1. In the winter the frequency is every 4-5 weeks
  2. in the summer every 3-4 weeks
Fertilizer
  1. Good natural at-home-emergency fertilizer options for orchids are eggshells, potatoes, Epsom salt, etc… (Please refer to our DIY blog post on fertilizer).
  2. Fertilize plants using low-nitrogen 10-20-20 fertilizer, or use a balanced 20-20-20 fertilizer diluted to half strength.
  3. Doesn't really need fertilizer
Bloom
  1. Blooms once
  2. A bromeliad must be mature to start developing pups, which normally happens shortly after the plant blooms. Most bromeliads mature in one to three years, depending on the variety and the plant's growing conditions, including temperature and humidity.
Temperature

70-90°F for days

50-70°F for nights

First Plant

This is the first pant I got and I am very satisfied! The plant is as beautiful as it is on the pictures. The colors of the leaves are fantastic and the plant is very easy to take care of. I followed the care tips on their blog and I contacted them on Instagram, and I have to say that the customer service is on point. They were very helpful and answered all my concerns quickly. Thank you so much Essencia Air, I love it!
